Zoey yawned. It was the next morning, and she was feeling better. She woke up Waverlee and walked into the other room where Crystal was playing on the iPad.
“I think we’re better,” Crystal said.
Zoey nodded, but Waverlee spotted the glasses from the day before, where they hadn’t clean up. Waverlee fake sneezed, and used her powers to splash Zoey and Crystal. Zoey rolled her eyes and reach over to grab the towel, which they had also left out.
“Yea, we’re totally better,” Zoey said.
Zoey shot a glare at Waverlee and then began to dry off.

Zoey picked up her phone and called her friend. Her friend answered.
“Hey Brynn!” Zoey said.
“Hi!” Brynn answered.
“Do you want to come over for a sleepover tonight?” Zoey asked.
“Sure! I’ll be there at six! Bye!” Brynn said.
“Bye!” Zoey answered.
Zoey set down her phone as Waverlee walked into the room.
“What are you doing?” Waverlee asked.
Waverlee sat down next to Zoey.
“I called Brynn and she’s coming over tonight,” Zoey said.
“What! Tonight’s the full moon, remember?” Waverlee said.
Waverlee used her powers to splash Zoey with the glass of water on the table. Zoey gasped and fell out of her chair, her blue and green tail appearing.
Zoey glared at Waverlee and clenched her fist angrily, and suddenly was dry. She gasped and looked at her hand, and then closed it, facing the glass of water. The water evaporated, and Zoey looked at Waverlee.

Zoey and Waverlee ran into the room next to the room where the Christmas tree had been. Crystal was curled up on the couch, reading a book.
“Crystal! The Moon Spell!” Zoey said.
Crystal looked up and abruptly closed her book. The girls went into the kitchen and Zoey fixed three glasses of water. She set one in front of Crystal, another in front of herself, and the last in front of Waverlee.
“Watch,” Zoey said.
Zoey held out her hand and closed it, the water boiling and evaporating. Crystal opened her mouth in shock.
“Fire and heat powers, another one of the moon stones’ powers!” Crystal exclaimed.
“We need to try other motions to figure out the other moon stones’ powers, so we know to be careful,” Zoey said.
Crystal nodded and straightened out one arm while pulling back the other. Suddenly the lights flickered out, and Waverlee screamed, grabbing onto Zoey’s middle. Crystal pulled her arm back in shock, and quickly flipped the lights back on.
“Um, okay,” Crystal said.
“Light, the sixth power,” Zoey said.
Waverlee was about to lift her hand to try something, but the sisters heard a knock at the door.
“That’s Brynn,” Zoey said.
Zoey went into the other room and opened the door. Brynn came in and shut the door behind her.
“Hi Zoe,” Brynn said, giving Zoey a hug.
“Hey Brynn! Let’s go play on the trampoline,” Zoey said.
“Okay,” Brynn said.
Brynn, Zoey, and Crystal ran outside. Followed by Waverlee, although she was reluctant. Brynn, Zoey and Crystal got on the trampoline and started bouncing. Zoey did a front flip, then a back handspring. Waverlee leaned against their grandfather’s new red truck and rolled her eyes.
“Show-off,” Waverlee muttered.
Suddenly Waverlee noticed thick clouds moving in. She became worried and stopped leaning on the truck.
“Zoey... we should go inside...” Waverlee trailed off.
Zoey, Crystal, and Brynn stopped bouncing. Zoey and Crystal looked up and gasped. The clouds were becoming thicker. Crystal and Zoey looked at each other worriedly.
“So what if we get a little wet?” Brynn asked.
Brynn continued bouncing, and so did Zoey and Crystal, although halfheartedly. Waverlee shuffled her feet nervously and paced back and forth in a tight circle. Suddenly a drop of rain landed on Waverlee’s arm. She gasped, shot a quick glance towards her sisters and Brynn, and took off towards the house. She nearly flung the door off its hinges as she raced inside, and almost tore down the stairs as she stomped quickly up them. She was now inside, and pause to think of the best place to go. She quickly decided to go towards the living room, and she made it there before falling over on the floor, her beautiful pink tail appearing. Waverlee brushed her hair out of her face and looked around for a blanket or towel to dry herself off with.
Back outside, the clouds were still growing thicker and turning darker. Suddenly Crystal felt a drop land on her arm, and she looked up at the sky, more drops landing like freckles on her face.
“Uh- let’s go inside now,” Zoey said.
Zoey practically pulled Brynn out of the trampoline and hurried her inside. As they went inside the garage, Zoey closed the door to keep Brynn from seeing Crystal. At that very moment, Crystal fell over and her tail appeared. Luckily for Zoey, she had dodged the rain, but Crystal was soaked through, her curly orange hair brown and straight from the rain.
Inside, Zoey and Brynn stayed in the garage. They talked for a while, until Waverlee had air-dried and went out into the garage to meet them.
“Waves, why’d you leave us?” Brynn asked.
“I got bored, since only three people are allowed on the trampoline at a time,” Waverlee explained.
Brynn shrugged.
“Why is Crystal still out there?” Brynn asked.
“I don’t know,” Zoey said.
“Let’s go inside,” Waverlee said.
Brynn, Zoey, and Waverlee went inside. Zoey grabbed the iPad and they sat down on the couch.

Crystal sat on the trampoline, still soaked and miserable. It had stopped raining, but it didn’t make her dry any quicker. She could have tried using her full moon powers, but she was sitting in a puddle of water and it would be useless.
Suddenly Zoey ran outside with a towel. Crystal was startled and jumped, sending up a small splash of water.
“Crystal!” Zoey said.
Zoey raced to her sister and handed her the towel. Crystal dried off her arms and tail as well as she could, and Zoey grabbed her arms, pulling her out of the trampoline and setting her on their grandfather’s truck. Zoey held out her hand and dried Crystal with her powers, and then they held each others’ hands as they went inside.

The next morning, Zoey watched as Brynn’s car drove down the hill and down the road. Zoey closed the door and walked into the living room where Crystal and Waverlee were. Waverlee was drinking water, and she set down the glass as Zoey came in.
“I’m glad that she’s gone. That was stressful!” Zoey said.
Zoey gestured with her arm towards the window where Brynn’s car could be seen. Suddenly the water in the glass splashed onto Waverlee and she fell over, half on the couch, with her tail.
“I still have my powers,” Zoey gasped.
